If there's one thing Hennie loves more than being in the African bush, it's sharing it with others.

Growing up in South Africa, Hennie's love for wildlife began long before he became a professional safari guide. Family trips to Kruger National Park sparked a lifelong passion for nature, conservation, and the incredible stories hidden within every animal track, bird call, and sunrise over the savannah.

Since 2005, Hennie has guided guests from around the world through some of Africa's most iconic wilderness areas, including South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Tanzania, and Kenya. From tracking lions across the Okavango Delta to witnessing the Great Migration in East Africa, his career has been built around creating unforgettable wildlife experiences.

Today, Hennie has returned to where it all began—Kruger National Park. As the owner, founder, and sole guide of Pro Guide Safari, every safari is personally led by Hennie, ensuring every guest enjoys an authentic, relaxed, and completely personalised experience.
